A Mixed ending to the season for Kyle and the Borja Sports Team,
Poll Position was set by Kyle with nearly half a second to spare in Saturdays damp conditions. Race day was wet and he swapped the lead with Xavi Fores for 5 lapsuntil lack of grip put him on the white lines then off . . .This was apparent with all the Kawasaki’s who suffered lack of straight line traction in the wet and all finished further down the field.The works BMW’s of Xavi Fores and Javier Del Amor had there day with a good wet package. Never the less, plenty of offers and plans for next season, everyone delighted with Kyle’s performance this year,Only a handful of works riders in front, who are all world class and he’s right there with them.

Good weekend for Kyle and the team. Trying to find that extra half a second proved quite difficult, but the team settled for a consistent pace and a safe result,

after qualifying 7th a result of 5th was a good one, everyone happy but Kyle a little frustrated wondering where to find the improvement ?

First live showing on ‘Motors TV’ for the CEV series, and the same next Sunday from his favourite circuite ‘Jerez’

Not as strong this weekend for the Wild Wolf – Borja Sports Team, qualifying 5th place withe 6th place finish was still something to be happy with.

Probably looking for consistent progression again, the team were happy to settle for a good position finish, maybe not as good as the last round but good points scored.

Round 2 Aragon 2011

Round 2. two week later (8th May) Aragon Circuit,
Kyle upped his game by qualifying 2nd. one tenth off pole delighting his team boss and manager. Straight to the front but lap 2 saw Kyle a bit anxious with the throttle resulting in a speedy crash.
broken collar bone but the rest of him ok, 12 screws 19 staples, he’ll be back soon ready for the next, Catalunya 19th June.

Round 1 Jerez 2011

April, Round 1. The Spanish CEV Stock Extreme Championship. Jerez southern spain.
Kyle qualified 5th with a consistent lap times, His new Kawasaki ZX-10R was found to handle better round fast curves but not as good round the slow ones, this caught him out mid race where he lost the front and tippled off.
Good start, but bad luck.

Round 7 Jerez, and a 4th place finish for Kyle in the premier Stock Extreme Class,
A superb finish to the season for Kyle and the Borja Sports Kawasaki Team,
qualified 8th with the usual suspension problems, bustled into 11th on the first lap Kyle settled and worked his way up the field to within 2 seconds of a podium finish,
beating 2 of the works BMW riders and his rival Works Kawasaki rider Julian Mazuecos. A progressive race just like his season, Team and all around him delighted, so . . next season holds a lot.

2011 Team to get a 2011 ZX10R
Kawasaki offer full factory support and spares,
Telemetry will be on board plus full time technician,
Ohlins suspension support with full time technician,

Stock Extreme Round 6 Valencia 2010

Round 6 StocValencia.
Another good ride and result for Kyle.
After struggling through qualifying again on the troublesome ‘09 Kawasaki ZX-10R he ended up 13th after the first lap,
After getting a grip he whittled his way up to 7th narrowly missing 6th place to his rival works Kawasaki rider Mattiello by 2 hundredths of a second after a ten lap tussle with him.
Not pleasing the works rider but pleasing Kawasaki Spain themselves !, and his own ‘Borja Sport Team’ and his ‘Wild Wolf’ sponsors of course.
Last round next week, Jerez southern Spain. Kyle just now holds second place in the privateers championship section which he should hold on to.
2 or 3 good offers for next year, will fill you all in later.

Stock Extreme Round 5 Albacete 2010

Stock Extreme, and Kyle limped home with a failed rear suspension, after nearly off at every corner he still got points for an 8th place finish.

Ohlins Suspension people managed to fix this once, but they were not there on race day when the rear unit failed again ! Disappointing after qualifying 6th without the use of a qualifying tyre!

Valencia next, November 14th.
